Jaguar Land Rover has plans to enthrall viewers this week at the Good Wood Revival Jaguar Land Rover Heritage Racing. The event will feature the iconic C Type and D Type racing vehicles from Jaguar Land Rover and this event marks the second successful Heritage Racing stint that Jaguar Land Rover has with the organizers of the Good Wood event.
Jaguar Land Rover plans to relive the victories that the team already enjoyed in 2012 and they are the Le Mans Classic at Monaco Historique and the Old timer Grand Prix at the Nürburgring AvD.
The C Type Jaguar will compete in the Freddie March Memorial race and the D Type is scheduled to complete in the race at Sussex. Apart from these, the Jaguar Cars’ outfit - also the official partner in the Jaguar Heritage race - will enter a modified Jaguar Mk 7 sedan in the event.
The Mk 7 is set to be driven by Derek Hood, owner of JD Classic and Andy Wallace, 24 hours Le Mans champion at the St Mary’s Trophy race. Good Wood Revival is the ideal place for car lovers, collectors and enthusiasts alike and the event focuses entirely on classic vehicles and all types of heritage racing events.
The event showcased some of Jaguar Land Rover’s iconic models in the past and this year the event is set to do the same. The Heritage Race is a huge platform for Jaguar land Rover to reach out to old customers as well as find new ones apart from reliving the past.
The Heritage Racing event at Good Wood showcased the talents of world renowned and seasoned drivers each year and this year will not be any different. The Heritage race is a platform for Jaguar Land Rover to showcase the most popular models of the company and the company makes full use of it.
Vehicles from jaguar Land Rover always sported ahead of age technology, designs and comfort and hence the company always had a brand name of its own which was highly respected. Jaguar Land Rover was always one of Britain’s premium car makers and the company manages to maintain its heritage till date.
Jaguar even showcases latest models at the Heritage Race and some of the vehicles Jaguar Land Rover is set to showcase at the event are the XK 120.. These are the most renowned C Type and D Type vehicles from Jaguar Land Rover and these ruled the race track during the golden era of Jaguar racing.
Jaguar will also be promoting the event through YouTube and the electronic media and the event is set to be showcased on 1st October 2012. Jaguar has a host of vehicles for launch and most of them are set to be showcased at the Paris International Motor Show 2012 set to commence next week and Jaguar lovers are in for a dual treat this season with both the essence of the new models and antique models from Jaguar doing the rounds, literally.
