But, BBC Sport have claimed that Salah could even be fit to play the Barcelona game.

Time will tell exactly what kind of condition Salah is in, but there was footage of him walking to the team bus after the game so it doesn’t seem that it’s dangerously severe.
It has to be said, when he sustained that injury last night it looked to be a sickening blow for Salah. The stretcher-borne forward was in tears as he was carried off and looked down and out on the turf.
He scored his 22nd league goal against Newcastle last night, so he’s still two clear of Sergio Agüero as the Premier League’s top scorer before Manchester City take on Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester on Monday.
We’ve got the second leg of the Barcelona semi-final on Tuesday 7th, followed by Wolves on the final day of the season Sunday 12th. The Egyptian King would need to make a full recovery in the next seven days in order to be fit to play the last vital games for us.
