27 Year Old Man Rapes Menstruating Colleague To Death, What He Does Next Is Shocking

Police in Ogun State have arrested a 27-year-old mobile money banking agent, Eniola Adenuga, for allegedly raping his co-worker, Faith Jude, to death.

Adenuga was among 19 suspected criminals paraded yesterday by the state Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations), Edward Ajogun, at the police command headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta.

The suspects also included seven young men arrested for allegedly gang-raping a university graduate after luring her through a social media dating site, InMessage.

Briefing reporters, Ajogun said Adenuga was arrested following professional interrogation despite his ploy to mislead the police.

He explained that the suspect reported on September 19 at the police division in Lafenwa area of Abeokuta that he discovered Faith’s body covered with a canopy in front of his mobile money banking office.

However, the suspect later confessed to the crime during interrogation, saying he had been on the trail of the 21-year-old victim for a date prior to the incident.

The police boss said it was discovered that there were marks of violence on Faith’s body which raised the suspicion that she was murdered.

Ajogun said the case had been referred to the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID).

Speaking with our correspondent, Adenuga said that he had sex with the victim despite the fact that she was having her monthly menstruation.

He said Faith, who recently joined the mobile money banking office, came to him during a heavy rain and he requested to have sex with her but she declined.

Adenuga said, notwithstanding, he forcibly had his way and raped the lady, who gave up the ghost in the process.

The suspect added that due to shock, he had to abandon the remains of the deceased for three days but later reported to the police that her corpse was found in front of the office.

“I have ‘toasted’ her (Faith) for about a week and she told me that she will be thinking about my proposal. When she came on Tuesday, I asked her about our last discussion and she said she was still thinking about it.

“I told her I wanted to have sex with her on that fateful day but she refused. She even told me that even if she would allow me, not on that day because she was on her monthly menstruation. I didn’t believe her and I said she was lying.

“I forced her and had sex with her inside our store but because of the force, she gave up. I covered her mouth with her underwear during sex. I later confirmed that she was menstruating. I didn’t know she had given up the ghost until after the sex.

“I was scared. I covered her with a canopy and rushed back to the main office. After three days, I came back and brought out the corpse. On that Tuesday when she died, I called her boss that I had given her the normal money she usually came to collect from me, that was when her boss reported at the police station.

“The following day, I dropped her PoS machine and her chair in front of the office. I called the boss again that we have seen her PoS machine and chair, so that people will think she had run away with the money.

“The following day, I brought out the corpse and reported at Lafenwa Police Station that a corpse was seen in front of my office. The police started the investigation and I was caught because of the discrepancies in my statement and the message I sent to her boss.”
