The United Nigerians’ Mandate For Atiku/Okowa ‘23 has said that the outing of their presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his running mate Ifeanyi Okowa has shown massive acceptability in the state. |
The group said it is glad to be part of the numerous groups that received their Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) as they tour Kaduna with millions of Nigerians attending the rally and other engagements.
A statement issued by the National Secretary, The United Nigerians’ Mandate for Atiku/Okowa ‘23, Hon Zachariah Dauke Suleiman, said they are glad their Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has shown to be a pan-Nigerian of northern origin.
“Just as we have been saying, Nigerians don’t have an option in the 2023 presidential election than the PDP candidate Atiku Abubakar.
“His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar has shown time without number that he is the unifier and no propaganda from the opposition can change that.
“Just as our Presidential candidate has been saying, The United Nigerians’ Mandate for Atiku/Okowa ‘23, believes that to ensure that Nigeria’s ethnic and religious diversity is properly channeled for development, Atiku is the right candidate.
“We believe that the key task for the next president of Nigeria is the unity, peace, security, development and the prosperity of the country which have already been encapsulated in the Seven points agenda of His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar.
“We believe and we will continue to convince and prove to Nigerians that Atiku remains the best option to ensure unity, security and development of Nigeria.
“No wonder Nigerians troop in their number at every event Atiku attended not only in Kaduna, but in other states. The 2023 general election offers an opportunity for Nigerians to vote for unity, security and development which Atiku represents, ” the group said.
“Definitely, our candidate is a candidate to beat because in terms of experience, in terms of capacity, in terms of preparedness, in terms of nationalistic presence, he is a unifier, he is somebody who can bring Nigeria together. His antecedents are very strong, he has contributed a lot to the development of the country.
“We want to use this opportunity to thank our Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar and his running mate Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa for raising the bar even in the ongoing visit in Kaduna.
“This shows clearly that the Atiku/Okowa ticket is acceptable by all and we will continue to work hard for the success of every candidate running under our party’s platform and especially, we will work for the success of Atiku because we have seen the light at the end of the tunnel.
“It is on this note that we thank our Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar and his running mate Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for interacting with the people, apart from the rallies/three day working visit to Kaduna State. We call on all Nigerians to ensure they work hard for the success of Atiku Abubakar in the coming presidential polls, ” the group added.
