He netted all four goals for his team in a 4-2 win, including the unforgettable bicycle kick from 30 yards out. His goal earned him the Puskas Award that year - a recognition of his brilliance.
Ronaldo also scored a remarkable bicycle kick in 2018, when he was playing for Real Madrid against Juventus in the Champions League quarter-final, as reported by the Guardian. The Portuguese star amazed everyone with his athletic feat, which helped his team secure a 3-0 victory. Even the Juventus fans applauded his goal, which was a rare sight.
In the video clip, which was share on X, Ibrahimovic was asked to rate his goal against England and Ronaldo's goal against Juventus. He admitted that Ronaldo's goal was better than his own, saying it was "the greatest" goal he had ever seen. He praised Ronaldo's timing and technique, and said he would have tried to do the same if he was in that position.
