In recent times, the Nigerian landscape has witnessed a surge in individuals making the life-altering decision to sell their properties in pursuit of opportunities abroad. In the light of the foregoing, the exodus migration socially known as Japa, may continue to exist if those desperate about travelling fail to understand why it is inconsequential to leave better offers for the superficial luring offers. 

This article aims to provide an in-depth exploration of why Nigerians should exercise caution before parting ways with their properties in the quest for a new life abroad.

However, the stark reality is that many fall prey to unscrupulous agents and fraudulent schemes that dangle the carrot of prosperity. Infact, many had disclosed to journalists that jobs in the western world are no more lucrative as been presented by the employers.
