BridgeRadio (98.7 FM) has approved the appointment of Mr Ruke Ignatius Edjeren as Head of Content, Presentation and Productions.
The versatile veteran is highly regarded in the Media Industry, for his creative style, originality and his penchant for hardwork.
At the Unveiling ceremony during the BridgeRadio 2024 Retreat and Strategic Session, the Chief Executive Officer BridgeRadio, Dr Henry Nzekwu said, he decided to bring in an experienced veteran and national figure in broadcasting to serve as a guide to the younger generation at BridgeRadio.
He hoped that Mr Ruke Edjeren's wealth of experience will be able to play a pivotal role in the stations quest in advancing into the digital realm, and becoming the force of the future.
The 2024 Retreat and Strategic Session with the Theme: Diverse, Evolving and Formidable, had in attendance very notable personalities including the Former Minister for Sports, Dr Akin Dare and other personalities in the Media industry, including Mrs Stella Amata, BBC trained Jacob Suware among others.
Mr Ruke Edjeren had before his recent appointment served as the Deputy General Manager Programmes at the state owned Delta Broadcasting Service Asaba and later served as the Special Senior Assistant Media to Hon Sir Victor Asasa the immediate past Chairman Isoko South Local Government Area.
With a rich resume in Media Management and an uncanny ability in sporting and developing young talents, it's believed that BridgeRadio's unassailable lead in modern digital broadcasting will be difficult to bridge.
He now joins the likes of Mr Kenneth Okwenu, Mr Ufuoma Obrike , Mrs Anwulika Francis, Mr Raphael Obasiogha, Mr Nelson Emmanuel in the management team of BridgeRadio.
In a brief response, Mr Ruke Edjeren said that he is living his dreams, as working with the young ones has always been his desire, and contributing to building a truly professional broadcast outfit is dream come true.
