This could be one of the best seasons for Nigerian footballers in Europe. You can't but imagine the key roles most of these lads played in getting their teams to win trophies this season. You cannot but mention how Ademola lookman of Atlanta FC came up with such sensational performance at the final of Europe cup, scoring a hat trick to win the trophy for his club.

What about Victor Boniface and Nathan Tella of Beyer 04 Leverkusen, who won the German Bundesliga without loosing a game. Boniface scoring 14 Bundesliga goals and 23 overall this season.

Cyriel Dessers got really red hot this season, scoring 16 Scottish Premiership goals and 22 overall for his club Rangers, yet they could overcome Celtics, the eventual winners of the premiership.

Peter Olayinka, perhaps Nigeria's most decorated player in Europe, won his 10th trophy winning the Serbia Pro League. What about Wilfred Ndidi and "Senior Man", Kelechi Iheanacho return back to the English Premier League after they won the Championship trophy.
