The foreign ministers of Iran and Turkey say the international community, predominantly Islamic and regional countries, must take swift action to stop the Israeli regime’s crimes in the region.
In a phone conversation on Monday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan discussed the latest developments in the region, particularly in the Gaza Strip, Lebanon, Yemen, and Syria in the wake of Israel’s savage attacks, and America’s bombardment of Yemen.

Referring to his participation in the recent meeting of the ministerial committee of the Arab-Islamic Contact Group in Cairo to review the situation in Gaza, Fidan emphasized the importance of Islamic countries' increased attention to the situation of the oppressed Palestinian people.
Meanwhile, Araghchi condemned the aggressions of the Israeli regime against Gaza and Lebanon in gross violation of the ceasefire agreements.
The foreign minister called for immediate action by the international community, especially Islamic and regional countries, to stop the crimes of the occupying regime.
Araghchi condemned the Israeli regime's resumption of crimes against Gaza, the occupied West Bank and Lebanon.
The top Iranian diplomat emphasized the importance of greater cooperation and coordination among regional countries to prevent aggression against Islamic countries and the escalation of insecurity and instability in the region.
The Iranian foreign minister also emphasized the principled position of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the internal developments in Turkey.
He stated that “the developments in Turkey are an internal matter of this country and Iran is confident that the competent authorities of Turkey will appropriately manage these developments based on the interests of the Turkish nation.”
At the beginning of the telephone conversation, Fidan congratulated Araghchi on Nowruz and the New Year and emphasized Turkey's readiness to help find diplomatic solutions to regional and international issues.
In January, the Israeli regime was forced to agree to a ceasefire deal with Hamas given the regime’s failure to achieve any of its objectives, including the “elimination” of the Palestinian resistance movement or the release of captives.
The 42-day stage of the truce, which was marred by repeated Israeli violations, expired on March 1, but Israel is refraining from stepping into talks for the second stage of the agreement.
Moreover, the regime has launched strikes on Gaza since Tuesday, breaking the ceasefire and prisoner-captive exchange agreement that lasted nearly two months.
The Israeli regime also agreed to a ceasefire with the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah on November 27 following significant losses over nearly 14 months of conflict against Lebanon and failing to achieve any of its military and political objectives including the elimination of Hezbollah.
In addition to breaking the terms of the ceasefire agreement and keeping parts of its forces in Lebanon, since the commencement of the agreement, the regime has been carrying out near-daily assaults on Lebanon.
Araghchi also slammed the US's continued military aggression against Yemen and warned of the spread of tension across the region.
The Iranian foreign minister called on regional countries to make greater efforts to counter the sinister plots against Muslim countries.
On March 15, the United States announced a wave of airstrikes that Yemeni officials said killed 53 people.
The strikes, the first since President Donald Trump resumed office, came after Yemeni forces pledged to renew operations against Israeli shipping in solidarity with the Palestinians.
In a further escalation, the United States recently announced plans to deploy a second aircraft carrier, the USS Carl Vinson, to the region.
